PEDESTRIAN IMPACTS

Pedestrian impacts are among the most visually persuasive exhibits in a case, and among the most technically demanding to get right. Impact speed, throw distance, and vehicle approach come out of the physical evidence and the reconstruction. The pedestrian's motion has to be built carefully on top of that, since small differences in gait, path, and orientation change what the exhibit shows. We work from scene measurements, scan data, photographs, and the retained expert's reconstruction.
